Doha, Qatar | 2014

The linear, zig-zag organization of the typical floor plan allows all of the individual units equal access to both natural light and views while maintaining efficiency in the overall layout. The unique facade of the building directs views from each studio toward the sea, also providing shade and privacy. Separate access is provided for residents and service through the two main cores. The ground floor plan is made up of an active landscape of intimate enclosures that cross under the residential bar above. The Main Lobby, Lounge, Business Center, and Restaurant are composed of separate yet connected spaces, each space having access to its own semi-private portion of landscape. Green roofs wrap around the drop-off/valet zone, providing a lush landscape at the entrance and a sustainable groundcover strategy.
